TNT Ace Hardware

I just became a lifelong customer. Alex is a very valuable employee and although he’s a busy guy, he is very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to assure he gives his best opinion and solution for a magnitude of questions and issues. Thanks guys, you saved the day once again! Cheers! So far I have been there for lawn/yard care, generator problems, and specific hardware needs. TNT Ace is the place!

Small, cramped, store. Employees are nice but really don't care. I've placed two online orders and they swapped out cheaper products each time. The items they claim to have in stock online is not true. They will try to sub out product and hope you don't notice. They scammed me once, I caught them the second time. Got a refund but wasted so much time when Home Depot actually stocks their products. This is why "locally owned" is meaningless, stores like this deserve to close. I contacted ACE corporate and they also are zero help in locating an ACE that actually carries the product they claim to have. This is what I get for trying to support a local business: You pull a fast one to make a quick buck. And refuse to order the right product when caught. Just go to Home Depot or Lowes, these crappy stores deserve to close.

We can’t say enough good things about Ace Hardware of Waukesha. As a local business ourselves, having a reliable hardware store we can count on is everything—and this place delivers every time. No matter what we’re working on, we always find exactly what we need. What really sets them apart, though, is the customer service. The owner is often there himself, taking the time to help, answer questions, and make sure you leave with the right solution. It’s that kind of personal, hands-on service that you just don’t get everywhere anymore. We truly appreciate having a store like this in the community—highly recommend supporting them!

My husband comes in quite often. He never has anything bad to say and is always telling me how friendly & knowledgeable everyone is. Multiple times he has needed something and they have ordered it in for him (product they usually only stock a few of). They continually ask about our kids and how they are doing/how school is. Recently we received a thank you card from them. A HAND WRITTEN card. Big box stores have nothing on them. We will always support local, small businesses.

Been here a couple time before. This time was looking for some lamp hardware for a special project. Got super help, but unfortunately was not able to find what I was looking for. However, the staff person was able to give me some good ideas on how to accomplish what I was trying to do. That is the part that separates an Ace Hardware from the Big Box stores. Excellent service that makes the best attempt to help you solve your problem. Thanks!
